1 - Process studies
Thursday 17th of October 2013 - Boulogne-sur-mer - Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie
from 10:00 to 12:30
Main drivers impacts identification and analysis (habitat degradation, environmental contamination, resources use, …)
About describing the factors affecting the coastal and estuary ecosystems resilience and their productivity focusing on ecosystems inter-connection including the continuum between the watershed and the coastal sea, one of the scale at which the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) might be applied.
Processes and factors at stake will be more particularly:
• Estuarian and coastal hydrosedimentology processes ;
• Coastal and marine habitats physical degradation ;
• Trophic chains diversity and bioaccumulation processes ;
• Chemical and biological contamination processes ;
• Fishing effort and degradation of exploited stocks productivity ;
• Exploitation systems dynamic; …
