Aquagenet is a project funded by Interreg IVB SUDOE program which major goal is the development of biotechnological tools to promote and improve sustainable aquaculture in southwest european area.

Aquagenet is leaded by Dr. Manuel Manchado Campaña from l'IFAPA (Institute research and formation for agronomy and fishery in Andalucia) and gathers 6 partners from SUDOE area in Spain (IFAPA, Barcelone University and Cadix University), in Portugal (IPIMAR) and in France (Ifremer and CNRS).

The project lasts 30 months from 2011 to 2013.
