Embarked Electric and Electronic Systems Service (S3E)

The skills gathered in S3E cover the general technics of electricity, electronics and electrical engineering.

The S3E Service particularly maintains a level of expertise and an ability in developping poolable equipment in the following key fields:

  • Power supply (Pb, Cd-Ni, Li-ion, PAC batteries), propulsion (asynchronous motors), motion control (synchronous motors), lighting systems (flashes, HMI, HID, Led projectors).
  • Underwater systems’ electrical architecture, underwater connectors, underwater integration of equipment, management of operational systems’ technical documents.
  • Underwater systems’ embarked electronic equipment, industrial data processing and instrumentation, underwater vehicles’ real-time software, optical communication systems, HD video and still underwater cameras.
